Orders per day. Shipments per week. Errors fixed per month.
Frequency is important because it reveals changes in patterns over time. It is the dimension of behavior that is affected by events.
It also allows comparison across time scales. Widgets-per-hour can be compared across hours, days, weeks, and so on.
We can change frequency surpisingly easily by changing rewards and disincentives for various actions.
